The most common wood floors installed (unfinished and prefinished )are red oak and white oak.

For the most hardwoods that come from USA and Canada the flooring grades are determined by industry associations as NOFMA(national oak flooring association) NFMA(maple flooring manufacturers association) and CLA(Canadian lumber's men association).

Is good to keep in mind that most flooring grades deal with aesthetics of the floor, not serviceability, therefore all grades will perform equal well, is their surface appearance that vary.

Typically, we have 4 grades starting with clear, select and better, number 1 common and number 2(cabin grade).

For the unfinished wood floors all of the grades are available, with a good advantage of having the freedom to choose virtually any color that suits your needs.

Another advantage of using the unfinished wood (site finish) is that the small imperfection in the subfloor it will not be transmitted to the wood floors, those imperfections being taken care of thru the sanding process that follows the wood installation.

The floor finish our company uses is the top rated in the wood floor industry ,products made by companies like BonaKemi, Basics, Glitsa give us the peace of mind that our floor will last longer than the average products find out there in the market.

Testimonial

Very pleasant. He came, provided quote, agreed on the price and timeline. He came on time to start and finished as promised. Showed us how it would be, communicated very well and did not have any problem. He had the house key but let us know every time when he was coming or going, etc. He finished but he said that he will come and fix some of the places, which we did not noticed. He came and fixed it after we paid him full! We definitely will work with him again in the new house.
